Clinical Psychologist

The BrainPower Fitness Center is a unique organization that focuses the resources of modern technology on the issues and problems of modern psychology.  Our goal is to help individuals achieve optimal functioning.  In the past 15 years, there has been enormous progress in our understanding of and ability to teach self-regulation of the body's primary control center:  the brain.  Indeed, the 1990’s were referred to as the “Decade of the Brain,” by presidential proclamation.  This  collaboration between the Library of Congress and the National Institute of Mental Health highlighted the importance of  brain research, as well as public education about the exciting scientific advances that were emerging.

Located in the Portland, OR area, the BrainPower Fitness Center  uses  traditional psychological techniques and therapies, along with the newest technological discoveries to enhance psychological well being and performance.  Our primary approach is to utilize psycho-physiological technology to teach self-regulation that optimizes individual mental health, providing body-mind-spirit healing.  We work with individuals of any age, including the very young and older adults, to help them achieve these goals.  Modern technology has enabled a dramatic breakthrough in the shift of power to the individual.  We are now able to learn to regulate our brain activity and as a result, our consciousness and emotions.   Our goal is to teach you how to do this.
